The tributes to Charlie Kirk flock from all over the political spectrum and his assassination attracting the condemnation and bipartite indignation in the face of the increase in political violence in the United States. The four former presidents denounced the attack, as did Gabby Giffords, Steve Scalie and the governor of California Gavin Newsom, who welcomed the right -wing activist on his podcast earlier in the year, saying that the attack is “disgusting, vile and reprehensible”.
