Pressed by the Guardian on whether he would send troops to secure enriched uranium, which would be stored at Iranian nuclear sites that the US bombed during Operation Midnight Hammer last year, Trump suggested it was a possibility.
“We haven’t talked about it,” Trump said. “At some point, maybe we will. That would be a good thing. Right now, we’re decimating them. We haven’t gone after them, but we might do it later. We wouldn’t do it now.”
