Valdez and Salazar spoke when the journalists entered the clubhouse after the match and Valdez said they had solved the problems between them.
“We were able to talk about it,” he said. “We talked after the match … to his locker and everything is good between us. It’s just things that happen in baseball. But yes, we talked about it and we are good.”
Salazar was asked about what happened on the field where he was hit. “The stadium was strong,” he said. “I thought I had pressed the button, but I pressed the bad button. I expected another step, but that was not all. ”
Salazar said Valdez had not struck him on purpose. “No, me and getting back, we actually have a very good relationship,” he said.
