Trump Pardons Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell and Assorted Allies Linked to 2020 Election Claims
President Donald Trump has issued a “full, complete and unconditional” pardon to his former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, his former chief of staff Mark Meadows and a host of others accused of trying to overturn the result of the 2020 election.

The proclamation states that pardons are granted “to all citizens of the United States for any conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy of any slate or proposed slate of presidential electors, whether or not recognized by any State or State official, in connection with the 2020 presidential election, as well as for any conduct related to their efforts to expose voter fraud and vulnerabilities in the 2020 presidential election.”
The president then named 77 people, adding that the list “is not limited to” this group, notes Fox News.
The proclamation further describes efforts to prosecute those who were involved in the 2020 election grievances “as a grave national injustice perpetrated against the American people” and says the pardons are intended to continue “the process of national reconciliation.”
The pardon proclamation was issued in response to a post shared by Martin on X on May 26, 2025, which read: “No MAGA left behind.”
“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated against the American people following the 2020 presidential election and continues the process of national reconciliation,” the document reads.
Trump made it clear in this proclamation that he did not include himself in the pardons.
Presidential pardons only apply to federal crimes, and none of Trump’s allies have been charged in a federal case.
