Trump picks Australian-born ‘alpha male’ Nick Adams as presidential envoy | Trump administration

Donald Trump’s appointment of Nick Adams, the Australian “alpha male” turned American internet provocateur, as the president’s new special envoy on Tuesday could fuel theories that the White House is deliberately trolling the world.
The president nominated Sydney-born influencer Maga, who has a history of theatrically inflammatory and Islamophobic comments, as ambassador to Malaysia in July, but the Senate returned the nomination without a confirmation vote in January and Trump did not re-introduce him.
The White House announced Tuesday that Adams has now been named special presidential envoy for tourism, exceptionalism and American values.
“Nick Adams is an America First patriot who will represent our country well as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence, and we look forward to working with him to further highlight and advance American excellence on the world stage,” said White House spokesman Davis Ingle.
Adams was once Australia’s youngest deputy mayor. He then began posting on His most quoted post read: “I go to Hooters. I eat rare steaks. I lift extremely heavy weights. I read the Bible every night. I am pursued by a lot of women.”
Adams’ Internet comments regularly feature vignettes of dubious veracity that seem more like right-wing fantasies than verifiable events. In one of those comments, Adams claimed to have ensured that a waitress was fired for wearing a “Free Palestine” pin. The post has since been deleted.
His posts attracted attention, which led to a series of books, the first of which — “Alpha Kings” — has a foreword by Trump and “defends traditional masculinity” and promises to “show young American men what it means to be a true alpha male in today’s hyper-feminized world.”
In a post shared on X in 2024, Adams said: “If you don’t stand with Israel, you stand with the terrorists! » The post was condemned in Malaysia and sparked protests in Kuala Lumpur after his appointment as ambassador was announced.
“The United States is a nation that, from its founding, was destined for greatness,” Adams said in a video announcing his nomination. “As the President’s Special Envoy for Tourism, Exceptionalism, and American Values, it is my duty to never let a day pass without reminding the world that the United States is worth more than the sum of our accomplishments.”
