Shock report claims the iPhone 17 Air will start at $1,099
There is just one more weekend until we have our first preview of the iPhone 17, and all eyes will be on the new expected air model. For more than a year, we have heard of the new ultra-thin phone from Apple, and in a few days, Apple will finally remove the wraps of the not so secret handset.
According to a new report, however, the phone could be higher than expected. In its annual iPhone overview, TrendForce reports that the new 6.6 -inch handset will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, such as high -end pro models. And it could have a high -end price to support it, from $ 1,099.
The iPhone 17 Air replaces the iPhone 16 Plus, which starts at $ 899, and most reports indicate that prices will be similar to this phone, the 128 GB model at $ 899 or $ 949. However, TrendForce says that the iPhone 17 Air, Pro and Pro Max will all see “increases from $ 50 to 100 per comparable capacity to reflect their design breakthroughs and their hardware improvements”, while the standard model sticks to its price of $ 799.
This pricing structure would position air from the iPhone 17 as a high-end level level with a difference of $ 300 between it and the standard iPhone 17. With reports according to which an even more expensive folding model arrives next year, the average sale price of the iPhone could be set to increase in a significant amount.
