Trump says Israel agrees to ceasefire conditions in Gaza; no Hamas response yet

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Israel “accepted the necessary conditions” to finalize a cease-fire agreement in the War of Israel-Hamas.

“My representatives had a long productive meeting with the Israelis today in Gaza. Israel has accepted the conditions necessary to finalize the ceasefire of 60 days, during which we will work with all the parties to end the war,” said Trump on Truth Social.

“The Qatari and the Egyptians, who worked very hard to help bring peace, will deliver this final proposal,” he added. “I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this case, because it will not improve – it will only get worse.”

Trump said on Friday that a cease-fire contract was coming. “We are working on Gaza and try to take care of it,” he told journalists.
