Trump Signals When ‘Operation Epic Fury’ May End, Owns Journalist Fearmongering About Iran Threats – RedState

My colleague Ward Clark reviewed President Donald Trump’s signature move Tuesday to mitigate mail-in voting fraud. According to a fact sheet, the Secretary of Homeland Security, with assistance from the Social Security Administration, will create a list of verified U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote in each state. The executive order will strengthen the monitoring and tracking of mail-in ballots by the United States Postal Service (USPS). Ballots will now have specific secure envelopes, with unique barcodes for tracking.
As the President answered questions, much of this EO was glossed over. After War Secretary Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon briefing this morning, most of the reporters’ questions were about Operation Epic Fury and Iran’s ability to retaliate. When asked if an end was in sight, President Trump responded:
I’d say, within two weeks… maybe. Two weeks, maybe three. We hit them very hard. Last time we destroyed a considerable number of missile manufacturing facilities, as you have probably read or written. We eliminated…
The journalist interrupted him in the middle of his speech and asked him for confirmation on this schedule. Trump said: “I think within two or three weeks.”
Another reporter asked what America would do after this.
Trump simply said:
We will leave. Because there’s no reason to do that. Look, a guy can take a mine, throw it in the water and say, “Oh, that’s not safe.” It’s not like you’re eliminating an army or a country. Or you can take a machine gun to the shore and fire a few bullets at a ship. Or maybe a missile on the shoulder, small missiles.
It’s not for us. It will be for France. This will be for anyone using the strait. But I think when we leave, everything will probably be sorted. Today I heard that a very large number of ships are sailing. We are currently negotiating with them. They were… again, we had a regime change.
Diet change was not one of my goals. I had one goal: they will not have nuclear weapons. And this goal has been achieved, they will not have nuclear weapons.
But we’re finishing the job, and I think in maybe two weeks, maybe a few more days to get the job done. But we want to eliminate everything they have. Now, it’s possible that we’ll make a deal before that, because we’re going to hit some bridges, and we have hit some, but and we’re going to hit some bridges, we’ve got some pretty nice bridges in mind. But if they come to the table, it will be good. But regardless of whether they come or not, we have delayed them…it will take 15 to 20 years to rebuild what we did to them. They don’t have a navy. They don’t have an army. They don’t have an air force. They have no telecommunications or anti-aircraft systems. They have no leaders, their leaders are all gone. This is why you have a diet change.

Learn more: Crackdown: Trump signs new EO targeting mail fraud before midterms
Hegseth and Caine explain how Iran is crushed, the next few days ‘will be decisive’ in the operation
Despite the definitive reports on the damage done to Iran’s infrastructure and defense Tuesday morning by SecWar Pete Hegseth and by the President at this signing of the EO, Reuters reporter Jeff Mason had to massage the mainstream media narrative that Iran was still dangerous and could mount an aggressive counterattack at any time.
Mason asked: “The Iranian government today threatened a number of American companies in the region, including Google, Apple…”
Trump didn’t even let him finish his question, but pushed back.
ASSET: With what? What did they threaten them with? BB guns? Or…
MASON: Well…it’s…
TRUMP: They don’t have much to threaten anymore.
And if Mason had been listening, he would have phrased his question differently. Instead, he ended up in a ditch, but insisted on filling up with gas and spinning his wheels.
MASON: My question to you is how do you help…
TRUMP: I don’t know. You made a statement. What did they threaten them with, I don’t know? In short, tell me, how did they threaten them?
MASON: All I know is they threatened them, sir.
TRUMP: What does that mean? Did they say something mean?
MASON: Has the government spoken to these companies and are you helping to support them…
TRUMP: You don’t even know what the threat was. What was the threat? I didn’t hear it. What was the threat?
The exchange was the equivalent of Mason bringing a water gun to a Super Soaker fight. Mason tried to back down, saying, “I’ll get back to you,” but Trump was now like a dog with a juicy bone.
TRUMP: Did they say they were going to blow them up, they were going to hit them – you know what they won’t do? They’re not going to hit them with a nuclear weapon.
Boom. Mason then tried to present the situation as if Trump didn’t care that American businesses were at risk. Mason asked, “Is this something that concerns you, sir?”
Trump calmly replied, “No.”
A journalist who had actually done her homework read about the specific threat made by the IRGC.
She said: “The IRCG threatened 18 US technology companies if the US continued targeted assassinations of Iranian leaders starting April 1. The companies listed are NVIDIA…”
Trump’s return was comedy gold: “Most of these people are already dead. »
After this exchange, we are Dead.
