Trump Steps Up to End the Crime, Homeless Takeover After Blue-State Leadership Fail – RedState

President Donald Trump took action Thursday to end the massive control of crime and homeless on the street after the Democratic leaders of the Blue States did nothing to make our streets safer.

During a signature to the White House, President Trump signed the executive decree of the “end of the crime and the end of the American streets”, which aims to restore “public order” to cities and to withdraw the homeless from the streets by not applying other urban campsite, urban launcher and strolling, among others.

“The number of individuals living in the streets in the United States in a single night in the last year of the previous administration – 274,224 – has been the highest ever recorded,” said the White House. “The overwhelming majority of these individuals are addicted to drugs, has a state of mental health, or both.”

“Almost two-thirds of the homeless say they have regularly used hard medication such as methamphetomas, cocaine or opioids in their lifetime. An equally important part of homeless said to suffer from mental health problems,” he added. “The federal government and the States have spent tens of billions of dollars for failing programs that deal with homelessness but not its deep causes, leaving other citizens vulnerable to public security threats.”

“The displacement of the homeless in long-term institutional environments for human treatment thanks to the appropriate use of civil commitment will restore public order,” he continued. “The delivery of our cities and our citizens to disorder and fear is neither compassionate for the homeless nor the other citizens. My administration will adopt a new approach focused on the protection of public security.”

Part of the OE essentially declared that it puts an end to the policies of “housing first” many blue states led by a democratic leadership failed in places like California, New York, Oregon, Washington, etc.

Reagan Reese of the daily caller summed up the long order below:

– The Attorney General will be condemned to “reverse the previous judicials and to put an end to the consent decrees which limit the capacity of states and local governments to commit individuals in the streets which are a risk for themselves or for others”.

– AG will work with the Secretary of Health and Social Services, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and the Secretary of Transport to “prioritize the subsidies for states and municipalities which apply the prohibitions of the consumption of open illicit drugs, urban campsite and vagueness, and urban acates, and follow the site of sexual relaxers”.

– funding will be redirected “to ensure that individuals camping in the streets and causing public disorders who suffer from a serious mental illness or dependence are transferred to treatment centers, assisted ambulatory treatment or other facilities”.

– The command prevents sex offenders who receive homeless help after being accommodated with children.

– The order ensures that discretionary subsidies for the prevention, treatment and restoration of substance consumption disorders do not finance drug injection sites or illicit drug use.

My colleague from the State Red, Jennifer Van Laar, recently wrote about the Governor of the CA of Democrat Gavin, who destroyed the state formerly Golden, allowing the crime to compensate and the homeless to take back parts of the big cities of the State like San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Newsom, who proclaimed in 2008 as mayor of San Francisco that he had a 10-year plan to put an end to roaming in the city, now presides over the state where half of the nation live. He said on several occasions that “repairing” homelessness is his number one goal, but the problem increases by all metrics: the number of people on the street, the death of the homeless, the violent crimes committed by the homeless, the fires launched by the homeless, and Cetera, and Cetera. And, the State cannot represent $ 24 billion in homeless funding.
