Get ready, Apple has an ‘amazing’ pipeline of products on the way

Apple CEO Tim Cook joined the troops during an unusual meeting of an hour -long company at the end of last week, discussing what he described as a pipeline of “incredible” products along the way.
Mark Gurman de Bloomberg reported on the rally all hands in the last edition of his power on the bulletin, citing the testimony of “people aware of the meeting”. The meeting occurred following the record financial results last week and has largely focused on AI, which, according to Cook, was a “as large or larger” technological revolution as the Internet, smartphones, cloud computing and applications.
“Apple must do so,” said Cook. “Apple will do this. It is up to us to grasp. We will invest in to do so. ” And he justified this by noting that Apple hired 12,000 workers in the past year, with 40% of them in research and development roles.
Despite the optimistic words of the CEO, AI has been a difficult market for Apple to oppose so far. It later happened that almost all of his rivals, which had established AI products on the ground well before Apple Intelligence. And even when the latter finally shipped, he was largely considered to be a disappointment.
But it is about to change – or therefore Cook would like its employees to believe, stressing that the delay was not historically an obstacle to the success of the Cupertino company.
“We have rarely been the first,” he said. “There was a PC before the Mac. There was a smartphone before the iPhone. There were many tablets before the iPad. There was an MP3 player before the iPod.” Although he failed to reach these markets first, said Cook, Apple is widely credited with having created the “modern” version of each. “This is what I feel about AI,” he added.
Readers can find Cook’s words on AI less than completely convincing, because none of these historical successes were as delayed or as disappointing as Apple intelligence. But the broader product portfolio may seem more promising.
“The pipeline of products, which I cannot talk about: it’s incredible, guys. It’s incredible,” said Cook. “Part of this you will see soon, a game will come later, but there is a lot to see.
“I have never felt so much excitement and energy before as it is,” he exclaimed.
We will see the first of these products on the iPhone 17 even in September, while Apple should unveil the brand new iPhone 17.
