EA Sports FC26
The World Cup kicks off in June and EA Sports FC 26 is exactly the kind of game to get you in the football mood. FC 26 refines the game of soccer with its intelligent AI movements, tighter ball control and more physical action. Players will be able to develop a tactical plan to attempt to achieve glory or simply adapt on the fly to counter the style used by the opposing team. There are different ways to have fun with FC 26, whether it’s building a legacy in Career mode or going online to compete with others. It will be up to the players to determine whether they will dominate the field in glory or bow their heads in defeat.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a unique take on the Soulslike formula that focuses on weapons. Each weapon class has its own strengths and weaknesses, but each class is also tied to certain stats. Heavy weapons will make you stronger, lighter weapons will be better for magic, etc. It’s this mechanic that makes this game, based on Chinese history but filled with monsters, such an intriguing version of Soulslike. Just a warning, prepare for a lot of death: Wuchang pulls no punches.
Nine Floors
Nine Sols, like Wuchang, is a Souls-like game, although it has a few other elements mixed in with its Metroidvania-like platforming sequences and backtracking. Players take on the role of Yi, a hero in a ruined world that is both mystical and technological. Combat consists of quick strikes and well-timed parries, making fights feel more like duels than actual brawls. The hand-drawn graphics are a feast for the eyes for a world full of mysteries that must be uncovered.
