Trump’s New Fragrance Doesn’t Smell Like Success

People voted for President Donald Trump, they wore his shoes, hats and watches, and soon they will be able to make calls on his phone. However, there is always another addition to the way in which we can experience everything that is Trump: which brings us to the last entry to the constantly expanding perfume collection of the commander -in -chief.

Victory 47 for men promises “rich male notes with a refined finish”, without really listing the ingredients or its perfume profile. Used, the first opinions of the users of the fragrance forum parfumo describe it as an “oriental fruity”, but note it only 1.9 out of 10.

Regarding the price, at $ 249 for 3.3FL OZ, it is comparable to successful luxury lines, like Tom Ford Noir Extreme ($ 240 / 3FL OZ) – but the cachet between the two is probably as distant as Tom and Donald’s policy.

Perfumes may seem a strange choice for a personal brand that prides itself on simple and male routes, but according to data from the NPD group, celebrity perfumes in the United States amounted to 148.5 million dollars between August 2022 and 2023 – a leap to 30% over the same period of the previous year. And even if it is not exactly the same money, which would not want a piece of this pie when you can leave the growl to a third party?

This upper niche price but not quite 249 $ puts Trump perfumes before the sphere of more sophisticated celebrities. At one end, names such as Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas have long crowded pharmacy shelves around the world with their offers to conquer the end of the lower market (think of $ 25 per pop). Stars such that Ariana Grande are the next on the scale, capturing a huge market with sweet bottles that cost $ 45 to $ 68. Then we have our Rhiannas and Billie Eilishes in the Affordable Luxury of $ 140.

This is not Donald’s first foray into the world of stink celebrities, of course – in the misty and pre -presidential days of 2004, we had Donald Trump the perfume (thanks to the mid -range power Estée Lauder), then the success of Trump in 2012, followed by the Empire by Trump in 2015 (both by the mother company of Parlux, which produced Billie Eillish de Trump in 2015).

Of course, this is not the first time that we have been wondering what the Power really felt: JFK wore both eight and Bob and Jockey Club during his mandate, but he did not release his name and “resemblance” to a third party who pushed products that he would probably never buy.

However, the Trump brand broadcast plan has drawn the attention of other authorities. Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has its own range of fragrances gracious from the Brazilian beauty brand Agustin Fernandez – although retail in the much less premium district of 300 R 300 R (US $ 50).

Like Melania, Michelle Bolsonaro, former First Lady of Brazil, also participated in the action with the launch of their line in 2024. Perhaps Donald will exchange complementary bottles with Jair, or perhaps there is a rare bottle of leaders inspired by Putin, the number one, which was making its way to Russia? The spirit – and the nostrils – boggle.
