Trumps Sits for Mar-a-Lago Interview, Says Iran Attacks Could Go on As Long As 4 Weeks – RedState

As joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran continue with Operation Epic Fury, President Trump told the Daily Mail on Sunday that the mission could ultimately last a month.
As RedState’s Jennifer Van Laar reported earlier, the president addressed the nation via a televised address to mourn the three U.S. service members who were killed and “send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen.”

POTUS said plans for the mission indicated it could last four weeks:
“It’s always been a four-week process. We thought it would take about four weeks. It’s always been about a four-week process so – as strong as it is, it’s a big country, it will take four weeks – or less,” the president explained.
He added that he was not surprised by any of the results of the strikes so far.
“No, I think it’s going as planned. You know, except we took out all of their leadership – way more than we thought. Looks like 48 years old, he replied.
The president remains open to new negotiations with the Iranians, but cannot say whether they will take place “soon.”
“I don’t know,” he replied. “They want to, they want to talk, but I said you should have talked last week, not this week.”
As we have reported, American and Israeli missiles continue to rain down on the regime. Earlier on Sunday, Trump announced on social media that we had withdrawn nine warships:

They too will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea! In another attack we largely destroyed their naval headquarters. Other than that, their Navy is doing very well! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The regime’s leaders, those who managed to survive the weekend anyway, launched missiles at countries in the Middle East, infuriating them and threatening to spark a regional war. Trump said he spoke with the leaders of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and “a few others.”
Referring to Saudi Arabia, which said in a statement on Saturday it was considering the use of military force if the attacks continue, he said: “They are fighting, they are also fighting.”

POTUS is expected to return to the White House later Sunday to prepare for what will likely be another incredibly busy news week. When asked if he had confidence in the future and if he thought Iran could one day become a democratic and peaceful nation, he seemed hopeful:
“Yes,” he said. “It will be very interesting to watch, but a lot of things could happen and a lot of very positive things could happen.”
Editor’s note: President Trump is leading America toward the “Gilded Age” while Democrats are desperately trying to stop him.
