Tucker Carlson Texted About How He “Hated” Trump

A cache of spicy text messages published Tuesday as part of a defamation trial revealed that the host of Fox News Tucker Carlson, who acted as an air shill for the agenda of former President Donald Trump for years, was, in fact, disdainful of him and looking forward to the end of his mandate.
“I hate him passionately,” wrote Carlson in a text on January 4, 2021, weeks before the end of Trump’s mandate.
The publication of text messages is part of the defamation trial of $ 1.6 billion in Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News. Dominion alleges that the network has pushed conspiracy theories on the electoral technology society and “did not ignore the truth” in order to advance Trump’s lies on electoral fraud during the 2020 elections.
The text messages were published with a multitude of details overwhelming on the conversations that the hosts and senior executives of the network had on their electoral coverage. Internally, a doubt about electoral fraud even claims that they were pushing on television.
In the texts to a colleague, Carlson, who has repeatedly displayed political platforms and trusses of Trump on his popular program, expressed his eagerness at the end of the president’s mandate.
“We are very, very close to being able to ignore most nights,” he wrote. “I can’t wait.”
He also deplored the failures of the Trump presidency.
“These are the past four years. We all claim that we have a lot to show for that, because admitting what it has been too difficult to digest,” wrote Carlson. “But go. There is really not an advantage to Trump.”
