Tulsi Gabbard Revokes Nearly 40 More Security Clearances In Wake Of Russiagate Fallout

The Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Tulsi Gabbard, announced on Tuesday that she had drawn 37 security authorizations for former and current intelligence professionals.
Gabbard said that he had “abused public confidence by politicizing and manipulating” information in an article on X. Several was linked to the evaluation of the alleged Russian influence during the 2016 elections ordered by former president Barack Obama, reported the New York Post (NYP).

The office of the Director of the National Intelligence note (ODNI) appointed 37 intelligence professionals who would have “engaged in a party or all” of several specific forms of misconduct. These included the deactivation of standard practices of standard trades, politicization and improper use of information and not protecting classified information, according to memo. “The president ordered that, with immediate effect, the security authorizations of the following 37 people be revoked,” said the memo
“Their access to systems, installations, materials and classified information must be dismissed immediately. Any contract or employment with the US government by these 37 people is terminated by these. All skills securities held by these people must be given to appropriate security agents,” continued the document.
The 37 individuals include the former deputy of the favorite Dni Stephanie O’Sullivan and Vinh Nguyen, who would both have helped Obama Dni James Clapper to build the assessment of the 2017 intelligence community since the beginning of the “preference of Russia for the president-election-election of 2017 2017 [Donald] Trump “against the former secretary of state Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections, according to NYP.
Several other people named in Tuesday’s announcement were linked to this ICA report, depending on the point of sale. Some approved a September 2019 statement to support the initial survey of the description of Democrats on Trump.
Gabbard addressed the second revocation of the security authorization directly in his article on X.
“Confiding in a security authorization is a privilege, not a right. Those of the intelligence community which betray their oath to the Constitution and put their own interests before the interests of the American people have broken the sacred confidence they have promised to maintain,” wrote Gabbard.

Samantha Vinograd, former assistant secretary of counter-terrorism, threat prevention and police policy in the Department of Internal Security during the administration of former president Joe Biden, was also revoked his security authorization.
According to the New York Times, Vinograd previously worked on the National National Security Council of Obama and signed an open letter urging Trump to disclose his commercial interests during the 2016 campaign.
Andrew Miller, previously part of the National Security Council of Obama and Deputy Deputy State Secretary of Biden in Israeli-Palestinian Affairs at the Bureau des Affaires du Near East of the State Department, also saw his security authorization revoked.
Loren Dejonge Schulman, previously principal advisor to the national security advisor in Obama, Susan Rice, and Beth Sanner, who previously been vice-president of the National Intelligence Council of Obama, lost their authorizations.
