TV channel, start time for Alabama vs. Hofstra in NCAA Tournament

The Alabama Crimson Tide are in the NCAA tournament for the sixth consecutive year. The Tide will be the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region and will face the CAA champion Hofstra Pride in Tampa, Fla., in the first round of March Madness.
Alabama (23-9 overall) had a brief stay at the SEC tournament in Nashville, losing 80-79 to an Ole Miss Rebels team that took a 14-point lead in the first half before the Crimson Tide made a late surge. Labaron Philon led Alabama with 28 points, Aden Holloway added 18 and Aiden Sherrell had 14.

Hofstra (24-10) defeated William & Mary and Towson before defeating Monmouth, 75-69, in the CAA championship game to clinch the Pride’s first NCAA Tournament berth in 25 years. Cruz Davis leads Hofstra with 20.2 points per game, followed by Preston Edmead with 16. Philon leads Alabama with 21.7 points per game, which ranks third in the SEC this season.
Alabama is ranked No. 18 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 for the tournament.
CBS Sports and TNT Sports reveal TV broadcasters for Alabama basketball vs. Hofstra
Ahead of Alabama-Hofstra, CBS Sports and TNT Sports announced who will be called up for Friday’s first-round NCAA Tournament game. Tom McCarthy, Candace Parker and Dan Bonner are expected to call the action from Benchmark International Arena in Tampa. AJ Ross will report from the sidelines.
