How to generate a password with Apple password application
If you have installed iOS or iPados 18 and you simply want a way without frills and easy to generate a secure password on the fly, the password application can be everything you need. Here’s how to do it.
- Open the application of passwords
- Press the + Symbol at the bottom right of the screen
- Ignore the sections of the website or the label and the username, press the password field, as if you were going to type it – not the password label.
- A small “strong password suggestion will appear just above your keyboard. You can press the password suggestion to add it to the password section and copy it for use where you wish.

You can add a website / label and a username, as well as all the notes, if you want to save this identification information and not only generate a password. How to generate secure passwords with a Siri shortcut
Using the link below, download the Pass a password shortcut on your iPhone. This will automatically redirect you to the shortcut app – Press Add the shortcut To download the shortcut to your phone. The password shortcut generated will then appear in your shortcut library.

The password will expire from your clipboard in 10 minutes, so be sure to use it relatively quickly, otherwise you will have to generate a new password. You can press any text field and hit Stick To enter the password from your clipboard.
