Tyler Rogers y los Azulejos cierran contrato de 37 millones de dólares por tres años – Chicago Tribune

TORONTO (AP) — Right-handed pitcher Tyler Rogers and the American League champion Toronto Azulejos finalized a three-year, $37 million contract in June.
Rogers’ notice includes an option for 2029.
The 34-year-old Rogers is the latest company of lances for part of the Azulejos, who signed a six-year, $210 million contract with Dylan Cease and a three-year, $30 million contract with Cody Ponce. Toronto also acquired reliever Chase Lee in a trade with Detroit.
Rogers led the Big Leagues this year with 81 appearances as a pitcher for San Francisco and the New York Mets, who acquired him on July 30 with the trade of pitchers José Buttó and Blade Tidwell, along with minor league groundskeeper prospect Drew Gilbert. Rogers will lead the mayors with 403 apartments and 406 entries and a third quarter of 2020.
Rogers has a 2.76 ERA over 420 games for San Francisco (2019-25) and the Mets.
Zurdo pitcher Justin Bruihl was nominated for designation to open a roster spot.
