Tyrese Haliburton proposes to longtime girlfriend Jade Jones
Tyrese Haliburton missed his first NBA championship ring in June, but he saved his best jewel for July.
The star of Indiana Pacers offered the longtime girlfriend Jade Jones, the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on Monday.
Haliburton organized the proposal inside the Hilton Coliseum, the house of the Iowa State Cyclones Basketball, Gymnastics, Volleyball and Wrestling.
The guard, which suffered a torn Achilles in match 7 of the NBA 2025 final, looked at – Cast, scooter and everything – to ask the question. Behind the couple, a panel said: “Will you marry me with rose petals on the ground.
The two have been released together since 2019 when they attended the Iowa State together.
Haliburton spent two seasons at Iowa State before being chosen by the Sacramento Kings at No. 12 in the NBA 2020 draft. Jones was a member of the school’s cheerleading team.
