US states begin net divisions on vaccines
States of the west coast form their own vaccination compact while Florida announces plans to abandon the shooting requirements for schoolchildren

A divider of the west coast vaccine against the Southeast took shape on Wednesday, while the States of the Pacific Coast formed a compact to fulfill their vaccination recommendations – while Florida has moved to drop the requirements of school fire.
The movements have intervened in the middle of the modification of the recommendations of the vaccines of the centers for Disease Control and Prevention before the influenza season, because the influenza viruses often spread in schools. Last week, the White House dismissed last week the newly installed director of the CDC, Susan Monarez, causing the resignation of other members of the higher agency staff. According to the devices, Monarez was dismissed because she disagreed with such changes in vaccination policies, in particular by removing or limiting shooting for children – the changes sought by the secretary of health and social services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., long -standing activist.
“AAP [American Academy of Pediatrics] Think that each family should have access to vaccinations to keep their community healthy. Schools are an important part of this community, “read a statement published by the organization in response to Florida news to remove the requirements of school vaccines.

Separately, the American Medical Association (AMA) published a press release saying that Florida’s plan “would undermine decades of progress in public health and would place children and communities at increased risk of illnesses such as measles, mumps, polio and the chicken variety causing serious illness, invalidity and even death. Although there is still time, we excite Florida to reconsent this change to avoid an increase in childhood illnesses that express health and risks.
Wednesday morning, the governors of three states, in California, Oregon and Washington state, announced a “West Coast Health Alliance” to coordinate their vaccination directives. A press release on the decision has cited “changes in leadership, a reduction in transparency and the dismissal of the long -term advisory bodies” at the CDC and declared that the state alliance “will allow residents to receive coherent scientific recommendations on which they can count – constantly moving federal actions”.
This decision was before the expected modifications of the new membership politically appointed to the CDC Advisory Committee on Vaccination Practices (ACIP). The panel may include seven new members, which the agency would have planned to set up before an ACIP meeting from September 18 to 19. This meeting will examine the demands for shooting covid, measles, measles and respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV).
Florida’s state surgeon, General Joseph Ladapo, speaking on a private religious school on Wednesday, announced that the State would abandon “each last” current requirements for schoolchildren to be vaccinated to attend schools in Florida. The state health service will move immediately to put an end to school’s requirements for four shots: those who protect against chickenpox, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae Type B and pneumococcal disease. States’ laws require schoolchildren receive photos for polio, mumps, tetanus and other diseases, so that state legislature should modify these rules.
“We are concerned about the fact that today’s announcement will put children in Florida public schools at a higher risk of getting sick, which will have a training effect in our communities,” said the Floridan Academy of Pediatrics section of Florida section in a statement on the announcement.
