5 content creator-approved deals live during October Prime Day

These days, all you Really Need to create content is a phone.
That said, investing in your setup can upgrade the quality of your content. While it doesn’t necessarily require spending hundreds of dollars – you can pick up an octobuddy phone case for less than $20 – the costs can Add quickly.
That’s what makes sales like Octor Prime Day an opportune time to pick up new gear, whether it’s an upgraded mic, a new light, or a camera. Admittedly, sorting through the mountain of deals that are live can get overwhelming, so we used our combined expertise of deals and what gadget creators use to track down five of the best creator-approved deals going live in the first few days. Chances are, you’ve probably already seen the phone accessory that the The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Both Whitney Leavitt and TikTok creator Tess Gigone cited it as an essential tool in their content creation kit. Dji mic mini

If you’ve been on Tiktok lately, you’ve almost certainly seen DJI’s tiny mic, aptly named DJI Mic Mini. We tested it for ourselves and were impressed by the leap in audio quality, range of customization, and ease of use (our social media team even used it to interview the VidCon Hall of Fame). Great audio can elevate content, and while it can be expensive, this deal drops this mic (which comes with two transmitters and a receiver) to just $79 – that’s the lowest price ever.
A comfortable pair of headphones

YouTuber Nicole Rafiee told Mashable that the Bose QuietComfort headphones were her “real ride or die.” While it uses the older model (The QuietComfort 45), QuietCoft’s headphones retain the excellent padding, great sound quality, and impressive ANC found on older headphones. And on sale, they’re only $230.
The light Alix Earle
Tiktok creator Sa Nguyen and creator Brooke Ashely Hall both told Mashable that they used the Found Light clip-on made famous by Alix Earle in 2022. Hall told Mashable: “We’ve had it forever, but it’s the one that clips to the front of your phone. It’s cool that that [Alix Earle] made him so popular. “While the light is already relatively affordable at full price, its Big Deal Day price drops it to just $20.39.
A camera with an excellent integrated microphone
A good camera can easily cost over $1,000, but one of the two cameras that creator Nicole Laneo uses (aside from her phone) sits just under that at full price. Luckily, it’s also on sale during the first day of October, putting it at a slightly more accessible $899. It’s not an upgrade for the casual creator, but if you’re serious about having high-quality footage – and you’re interested in a built-in three-microphone array that Laneo cites as one of its favorite specs, this deal might be worth checking out.
