UFC Nashville: Derrick Lewis demolishes Tallison Teixeira in 35 seconds, rips off shorts, moons crowd

The undefeated race of Tallison Teixeira is no longer.

Derrick Lewis more than what has ensured that.

Lewis easily managed Teixeira in seconds on Saturday evening in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in what was his first fight in more than a year. The 40 -year -old man, who is the KO chief of all UFC time, added another KO to his count when he managed the Brazilian 6 -inch 7 inch without much problem.

Although it ended up being a complete eruption, Lewis seemed to be on the wrong side of things outside the door. He took an early blow to the face and was spotted while holding his eye while stumbling a little. But Lewis turned things up immediately. He rallied and drilled to the ground with a left -handed punch to the chin. He then threw Teixeira into the fence, landed several shots on the head and forced early eliminations to only 35 seconds.

Naturally, this led to a massive celebration that only Lewis could succeed in the octagon. He snatched his shorts, agitated them, then briefly walked the ESPN camera.

The loss ended what was a dominant race of Teixeira. He entered the evening with a perfect 8-0 record and won a victory against Justin Tafa via a circuit in the first round at the UFC 312 in February. None of his fights left the first round either.

Lewis now has a 29-12 file in his career. He also has 24 victories per KO or technical KO, 16 of which have now come to the UFC. It is most in promotional history. Lewis has now won three of his last four outings.

While Lewis is undoubtedly approaching the end of his career, he has clearly a lot. The upheaval on Saturday evening was proof of this.
