“I am happy to announce that the fighting between Thailand and Cambodia will cease momentarily and they will return to live in PEACE, in accordance with our recently agreed original treaty,” he said:

I would like to congratulate the two great leaders for their brilliant success in reaching this rapid and very fair conclusion. It was QUICK AND DECISIVE, as all these situations should be! The United States of America, as always, was proud to help! With all the wars and conflicts I have resolved and stopped in the last eleven months, EIGHT, perhaps the United States has become the REAL United Nations, which has provided very little assistance or assistance in any of them, including the current disaster between Russia and Ukraine. When fighting intensified again a few weeks ago, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio voiced U.S. officials’ concerns, according to Breitbart News.

“We strongly call for an immediate cessation of hostilities, the protection of civilians and a return by both sides to the de-escalation measures outlined in the October 26 Kuala Lumpur Peace Accords signed by the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand and in the presence of President Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,” he said.

Neighboring Asian nations have had a territorial dispute since 1907, when Cambodia was under French colonial rule. Thailand has historically argued that the current borders, first drawn at that time, were inaccurate, while Cambodia has defended the legitimacy of the border lines drawn to claim the disputed territory. After eight decades under French rule, Cambodia gained independence from France in 1953.

During a speech in September, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres repeatedly praised Trump’s peacemaking efforts around the world, according to Breitbart News. The report also notes: “The government of Cambodia nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in August. »
