University of Pennsylvania’s Mann facing backlash for Charlie Kirk X posts

A senior administrator of the University of Pennsylvania is under fire for republication and a controversial position on X after the assassination of the founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk.
“The White on White Violence has become uncontrollable,” wrote Professor Michael E. Mann, director of the Center for Science, Sustainability & The Media, in a post X now deleted.
He also retweeted several messages slamming Kirk, including one of Max Granger making fun of the Chronicle of the New York Times of Ezra Klein on the conservative activist, who said “Ezra Klein: I had my differences with the head of the youth Hitler of Trump, but we both wanted the same thing: to make America again.”

He retweeted another article on the column “Charlie Kirk of Klein, the policy of politics”, doubling it “White-Washing ‘Kirk’s Legacy. Mann himself posted that the governor of Utah Spencer Cox, a group of advocacy on firearms, concerned a previously signed Bill Cox.
