Unlock this AI feature in Firefox and never fall for a scam link again

Based on version 138 (published in April), Firefox had a new but deactivated option which uses “artificial intelligence” to display a mini preview of the destination page for a link.
The functionality determines the content of the page in question and displays a contextual window, and this overview can help avoid scams and potential malicious software when navigation of unlined links. The AI function works locally on your PC and, according to Mozilla, does not use cloud service.

To activate the functionality, open the configuration of Firefox by sailing to about:config in the address bar. Confirm the safety prompt with the blue button “Accept the risk and continue”. Then look for the labeled flag browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled Using the search field, then click the button on the right (with the two arrows) to activate the functionality if it is not defined on “True”. Finally, restart Firefox.
To use the AI link preview function, try one of the two methods: either Keep the change key While you fly over a link, or Click and keep the link You want to preview. This can take a few seconds, but Firefox will then display an overview of the destination as well as a summary generated by the content of this page.
