US border agent who led immigration crackdown in LA arrives in Chicago | Chicago
The agent of the border patrol who led the repression of immigration which sparked generalized demonstrations in Los Angeles announced on Tuesday in a social media position that he arrived in Chicago.
“Well, Chicago, we arrived!” Gregory Bovino declared in an article on X which included images of the vehicles and agents of American immigration and customs (ICE) under the street panels and the views of the city center of Chicago. “The operation as a whole is there to continue the mission we started in Los Angeles.”
Donald Trump has promised for weeks that Chicago would see an increase in deportations and troops of the National Guard on the fierce of the objections of local leaders and residents.
Immigration defenders in Chicago said they had noticed an increase in immigration application agents in recent days while Trump targets democratic bastions. However, Trump was visible to send a military deployment to Chicago.
