Video shows son of ex-UFC champ punching unconscious wrestler

A widely broadcast video shows the son of the former UFC Quinton “Rampage” Jackson champion repeatedly hitting a professional wrestler apparently unconscious in the ring.
Raja Jackson rose in the ring and Stuart Smith, known to Syko Sta, before beating the apparently unconscious wrestler at the Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy. The attack was widely seen online in images in difficulty on Saturday and spread on social networks.
The Academy said Jackson attacked Smith in a match, leaving the normal script to commit the blows. Jackson launched at least 20 punches at the head of the apparently unconscious wrestler.
Other wrestlers finally separated Jackson from Smith, and Jackson fled the Academy, which is located in the Sun Valley district of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Service responded to the Academy and Investigation of the Incident, TMZ reported. A spokesperson did not immediately return an additional detail request.
Knokx Pro Entertainment & Academy published a declaration on his Facebook page condemning the acts of Jackson. The message said he “monitored” Smith’s health.
“What was supposed to be a place of planned and agreed struggle has been transformed into an act of selfish and irresponsible violence against Mr. Smith,” the statement said. “This blatant act is reprehensible and should never have occurred. During the 17 years of operation of the Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything so odious like this and we apologize to our customers and our fans.”
Smith presented himself professionally as an American military veteran who took the fight as a tool to manage post-traumatic stress disorder.
Raja Jackson, 25, is also a mixed martial artist, losing his only professional fight in 2023.
Rampage Jackson published a declaration on social networks in which he said that Smith was “awake and stable”.
I want to eliminate the disinformation of my son Raja. I was confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith aka Syko Sta) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly struck on the side of his head a few moments before Smith’s match, Raja was informed that he could obtain his “reimbursement” in …

He also said that the assault was part of a previously planned performance which “went wrong” after Smith apparently angry Raja Jackson in front hit unexpectedly next to the head earlier in the day before the match.
“Raja was informed that he could get his” reimbursement “in the ring,” wrote Jackson. “I thought it was part of the show. It was a bad judgment, and a work that went wrong. Raja is an MMA fighter and not an professional wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I do not tolerate my son at all!
Rampage Jackson was the UFC heavyweight champion in 2007 and 2008, and he fought for several MMA promotions until 2019. He also worked as a professional and actor wrestler, playing in particular Baracus in the restart of the film of “The A-Team” in 2010.
