‘Virginia Father’ Charged With Baby’s Murder Is an Illegal Alien – RedState
What is happening in Fairfax County, Virginia? This is the third alleged murder committed by an illegal alien in recent weeks.
In early March, Stephanie Minter, 41, was stabbed to death at a bus stop by an illegal alien from Sierra Leone, and earlier Wednesday I wrote about the Guatemalan “undocumented person” who stabbed a man to death on Sunday.
Now, a man described as a “Virginia dad” who allegedly caused the death of his three-month-old baby by blunt force trauma also turns out to be an illegal alien from Guatemala. All of this is happening while Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger has canceled cooperative agreements with federal immigration authorities, and congressional Democrats are holding the Department of Homeland Security hostage with their insane demands for ICE reform.
Disgusting.

What kind of man kills his own little girl? The one who must either remain lifeless or be stuck in a dark room somewhere for the rest of his days:
A Virginia father is facing charges after a medical examiner determined his 3-month-old daughter’s death was the result of blunt force trauma.
Fairfax County police responded to reports of an unresponsive infant at a home in the 3400 block of Lake Street in Bailey’s Crossroads around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Warning: The details are disturbing, and the fact that the baby showed previous signs of abuse is a reminder that this illegal alien deserves no mercy if convicted:
When they arrived, the infant was no longer breathing and police began administering CPR.
After firefighters and paramedics arrived, they continued additional medical efforts before transporting her to a local hospital.
The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police and hospital staff said they saw signs of abuse during the investigation, and police took the baby’s father, Misael Lopez Gomez, 28, into custody.
Lopez Gomez was charged with second-degree murder and child abuse.
He is currently jailed without bail.

The efforts by @wusa9 and the mainstream media to cover criminal illegal aliens are astonishing.
It’s sometimes difficult to put into words the heartache one can feel when reading stories like this – and the anger at those who downplay it and continue to let it happen. As I wrote earlier about Spanberger and Democrats in general:
Although Virginia is not officially a sanctuary state, it might as well become one after Gov. Abigail Spanberger ended cooperative agreements with ICE. Sanctuary policies are literally killing people, and Democrats simply don’t care. Meanwhile, Spanberger, who campaigned as “reasonable,” has proven to be anything but and has swung so hard to the left since her Nov. 25 election victory that she nearly fell.
I would call on Abigail to change the state’s stance on illegal immigration, but that would be as effective as yelling into the wind. Democrats care more about illegal aliens than American citizens.
There’s something rotten in Fairfax County, and now a baby is the latest victim. Tragic – and avoidable.
