Vodka Seltzers Recalled Over Cans Mislabeled as Energy Drinks

The High Midi has expressed a reminder of two prizes of production of its vodka cans, saying that some packages contain poorly labeled cans as Celsius Astro energy drinks, warning that consumption “would cause an involuntary alcohol ingestion”.
The error occurred “when a shared third party can be provided for several brands of boring drinks to the cans of the vibration of Celsius Astro empty at the Midi production plant, which were then filled with High Midi Vodka Seltzer and packed in High Noon Beach Variety 12-Packs”, said Celsius in a press release on Wednesday.

What to know
Two 12 -year -old 12 -year -old High Midi Packs were recalled, after “some of these packs contain cans filled with vodka alcohol at noon and are poorly labeled as Celsius® Astro Vibe ™ energy drink, Blue Razz Edition with a money high”, “according to the announcement of the company on July 29.
The two production batches, High Midi UPC 085000040065 and Celsius UPC 8 89392 00134 1, were shipped to distributors in a handful of states: Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. The poorly labeled product was dispatched from July 21 to July 23.
Consumers are encouraged not to drink liquid in these lots and eliminate the Celsius Astro Vibe energy drink. If the cans have the following printed lot codes at the bottom of the box, they should not be consumed: L CCB 02JL25 2:55 at CCB 02JL25 3:11.
The recall was launched after the High Midi “discovered that a shared packaging supplier wrongly shipped the Celsius Videes at noon,” said the company.
“Celsius immediately launched a joint investigation with Gallo (parent company of High Noon) and the third party supplier shared by third party connected to poorly labeled products,” Celsius said in a press release.
The declaration continued: “Although Celsius was not involved in the production, filling or distribution of these products, we work closely with High Noon, Gallo and Food and Drug Administration of the United States to ensure the awareness and safety of consumers. We actively support the voluntary efforts of High Noon to protect consumers.”
