1 dead, 13 hurt in lightning strike at New Jersey archery range, police say

Jackson, NJ – A thunderbolt in a range of archery in New Jersey killed a man and injured 13 others on Wednesday evening, according to the police.
Around 7:15 p.m., police were informed that several people were struck by lightning at the Arc of Black Knight Bowbenders and that the RCR was administered to a person, said the police chief of the canton of Jackson, Matthew Kunz, in a statement.
A 61 -year -old man died of his injuries while another person was temporarily unconscious, according to the press release. The other wounded had unable burns and complaints not to feel good. The youngest injured person was 7 years.
The injured were taken to neighboring hospitals to be treated. Their conditions have not been released.
