The Prvke Lite is the smallest and most affordable of the Wandrd bag in their award -winning Prvke range, and with its integrated camera cube, a rationalized design and practical characteristics, photographers are suitable for a compact transport solution for their camera next to a few lenses and accessories. It was designed by photographers, for photographers, and we think they have incredibly used space, and it is clear that a lot of reflection has entered this line of backpacks of the camera.
We tested the Prvke Lite alongside version 21l of the new PRVKE V4, so let’s see if the smallest Prvke Lite deserves to be considered for a more compact option.

At first glance, this bag is beautifully designed with waterproof materials and bad weather -resistant zippers to keep your equipment dry. He comes in a choice of 7 different colors, and our painfully millennial optical writer chose “Wasatch Green” to literally correspond to everything in his house. The capacity of 11L maintains this “Lite” version more compact than even the smallest 21L bag in the Prvke series, and we found it ideal for female photographers or anyone with a smaller setting.
We found it at ease to wear, but as the bag was starting to become heavier with more equipment, we found ourselves to wish that the straps had a little more padding to accommodate the heavier weight (something they approached in the new V4). Fortunately, the adjustable chest strap helped relieve our shoulders, but the attachment was … weird. We want him to just have a simple loop to make life easier. There is also a separate hip belt, although we have not obtained an inclusive in our test sample.

The bag is designed with both an entry into a roll in the upper section of the bag and the rear entrance in the main camera compartment, alongside an easy access marton to quickly grasp your camera without having to remove the bag. The handful handles connect together using a magnetic clasp, which, although a nice touch, we found that the magnet was not very strong – although it does not help its use, just an observation that we had. There is a crochet style loop to secure access to the roll, which seems much more secure and difficult to access than what it is, and once won, you will find velcro patches to fix the fabric to Roll-Top when rolled.
At the front of the bag, there is a large front pocket to store flat items such as paper or a tablet, 4 strap hooks accessories at the front and 4 at the bottom (although we have not received straps with our sample), an extensible pocket on the side to contain a bottle of water or a very small tripod and a quick side to easily access your camera. There is a discreet fleece pocket on the back for smaller items like your mobile phone or sunglasses, alongside a pierced lobby strap and an adjustable sternum strap that is fixed to the straps. There is a good amount of padding at the back of the bag, which makes it comfortable to wear for long periods and to protect your equipment. The only thing we are missing is a side strap to secure a tripod on the side pocket and a hidden air pocket.

We really like the way they designed the interior to match the outside of the bag and combined with the excellent use of the small space, we can see that a lot of reflection has been put in this bag. The main camera compartment is accessible using a zip at the back of the bag, which opens entirely to display all your camera equipment at a glance. We would have liked the zip to be nested (as if they were on the transit travel bag), especially since you will transport expensive camera equipment. We thought it could be a lack of feature in the Lite version, but the new PRVKE V4 does not have it either. In our opinion, it would be an easy addition to ensure increased security, even if only on the side access hatch.
We like the integrated padded camera separators for an easy organization, and this is one of the main arguments for the sale of this waist bag above the others. In addition, you have the flexibility to modify the arrangement of Velcro dividers according to your equipment configuration, or to delete them completely if you want to use it as a day bag.

The main compartment also has a laptop handle that can adapt to a 14 -inch MacBook Pro, 3 zipped pockets to store smaller accessories and, for any reason, another padded area of the bag which would have made a nice fourth pocket. There are a few areas of the bag where we think there is a little wasted space – this is one of them. This area would be perfect for a large pocket – we estimated that the existing pockets were a bit small and would only make the naked necessities.

When you compare it directly to the Prvke 21l, we would also have liked that they include the same pockets that are inside the side hall. It is an ideal place to safely store batteries, spare cards and other essential elements which are easily accessible during a shoot without having to dive into the main compartment.
This upper compartment is ideal for clothing or other non -photographic items, making it a versatile option for everyone, not just photographers. Thanks to the design of Roll-Top, this compartment is expandable to increase the capacity of 15L to 20L when extended. There is also a zip hatch to access this upper part of the bag when the main opening of the shell is also fully open, which is a useful feature.
Verdict
Although there is certainly room so that they have tightened a few pockets and additional storage solutions for your small items, overall, we believe that it is a brilliantly designed bag that can adapt to a camera with up to three objectives. It is comfortable to wear and easy to access your equipment, and has flexibility to adapt to photographers, commuters and travelers with its separators of integrated but removable camera cubes.
Curiously, it is more expensive than the STANDARD 21L PRVKE bag – We assume that this is due to the integrated camera cube, because the biggest bags are only delivered with the shell. However, for the quality, the versatility and the style of the Prvke Lite, we think it is worth the money and will serve you for years.

If the Wandrd Prvke Lite has not completely reached the brand, here are other options to examine.
Their new bag has beautifully placed pockets for more convenience (we have become a little too excited by that when we got our hands on it), and is only a greater physical fraction than the Prvke Lite.
