How to Get Clear Icons and Other Home Screen Changes in the iOS 26 Beta
Apple published the first public version of iOS 26 on July 24 and the beta version brings a liquid glass design to the iPhones of developers and beta testers, alongside other updates such as a new game application. As part of the design of liquid glass, the beta update allows people to turn their semi-transparent icons. And this is based on the customization options of the Home screen that Apple introduced on the iPhone with iOS 18.
Apple released iOS 18 In 2024 and he introduced a major change (and long expected) to your iPhone, the possibility of personalizing your home screen. With iOS 18, you can delete application labels, modify the color of application icons, organize applications around the screen of new ways and much more. You can supervise your background with your applications or give your iPhone a more personal touch with different color applications.
Here are all the ways to personalize your home screen to make it as fun and unique as you.
Although many of these customization options are available for everyone now, some options are only available for developers and beta testers of the beta iOS 26 version. As this update is always in beta version, the update can be buggy for you and the life of the battery of your device can be affected, it is therefore preferable to keep these problems out of your main device. If you want to try the beta version, I recommend downloading it to a secondary device.
It is also possible that Apple can adjust them and other update features before the company published the final version of iOS 26 this fall.
How to remove application labels in iOS 18
1 and 1 Press your background to enter Jiggle mode – where your applications are all trembling.

4 Faucet Big In the new menu that appears at the bottom of your screen.
The icons of your applications will grow and the labels below will disappear. It seems much cleaner to me and I do not plan to display the application labels again.
The Personalize menu in the beta iOS 26 version replaces small or large options with the two squares in the area.
If you don’t like it, follow the steps again but press Little. The applications will return to their normal size and the labels will reappear.
If you use the iOS 26 beta, you will not see the options for small and large. Instead, you will see two squares – one is small and the other is large – in the upper right corner of the customize menu. Press these squares to make application icons smaller or larger.
How to change the color of the icons of your application

3 and 3 Faucet Personalize.
4 Press the icon on the far right of the menu at the bottom of your labeled screen Tinted.
This will pull a gradient scale at the bottom of this menu and you can slide them until you get the right shade.
Clear icons could be difficult to see for some people in the beta version of iOS 26.
You can also press the tag icon in the upper right corner of the menu to select a color from your background which more closely corresponds to your icons. In this way, you do not move the cursors and that you become frustrated because the colors do not correspond – not that it happened to me, certainly not. This change will affect all the icons of your application.
You can also give some of your applications a darker background.

4 Press the icon to the left of the center in the menu at the bottom of your labeled screen Dark.
The premature applications of Apple, such as messages, safari and more, will now have an almost black background. This modification applies to Apple Première applications and certain third -party applications, such as YouTube and Bluesky applications. Other third -party applications, such as Instagram and Snapchat, are unchanged.
The choice of Dark will darken your background, which could reduce the quantity of power that your iPhone uses and extend the life of your battery.
If you are a developer or a beta tester with the iOS 26 beta on your device, you will also see an option for Clear in the Personalize the Home screen. Press erase and all the application icons on your home screen will become semi-translucent. This will also affect the icons of your device, as in parameters and other menus.
How to darken only your background
If you have tested the icons of your application, or like the icons with a clearer appearance, you can darken your background to bring out the icons. Here’s how.

3 and 3 Faucet Personalize.
4 Press the sun icon in the upper left corner of the new menu.
This will only dare your wallpaper and not affect the icons of your application.
How to organize applications around your home screen
The organization of applications on your home screen is the same process as before. You can either enter the jiggle mode by pressing on an empty part of your background, then dragging the applications where you want them to go, or press and drag an application to a new location.
You can organize applications in a model or any training you want.
You can place all your applications near the bottom of your screen, have them framed by your screen or organize them in any other number of models. Because I am on the right, I placed most of my applications on the right side of my screen so that I can easily press them without fear of dropping my phone. This also makes it possible to make sure you see your journey if it is a photo of a loved one or a pet.
The grid is always present, so you cannot place applications on each other or too close to each other. If you are enlarging your applications, there will be a significant gap between your quay at the bottom of your screen and the lowest row of the grid. It seems that it is large enough to adapt to another application icon, but you cannot – I tried in vain.
Do not forget, all iOS 26 features mentioned here are still in beta. Thus, Apple could adjust or delete these features when the company releases iOS 26 this fall.
