Was It Ghislaine All Along?

I am slightly fascinated by this play in the intelligent section of New York magazine. This is the review of a new biography of Andrew, Duke of York, by a guy named Andrew Lownie. (The part seems to be free for a limited period.) What aroused my interest is the major if not central role of Ghislaine Maxwell and therefore Jeffrey Epstein. In fact, the result of everything is to make Maxwell much more central and dominant in the history of Epstein than perhaps even Epstein himself, certainly in the life of Andrew and perhaps also in Epstein.

At a certain level, I did not care about any of these people. As I have noted in my other Epstein messages, I am interested in history because of the way other people are interested – many people – and how this interest is believed in our policy and certain material ways explains our policy.
