Watch CBP Agents Taking Care of Business on the Streets of NC in New ‘Operation Charlotte’s Web’ – RedState

As we wrote Friday, state and local Democrats in North Carolina began chattering wildly this week after reports began circulating that, after making progress in eliminating criminal illegal aliens in Chicago, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was preparing immigration operations to begin soon in Charlotte.

Some of the resistance has come from city council members, as well as the sheriff of Mecklenburg County, where Charlotte is located. However, it was alarmist comments from a congresswoman and the state’s governor that caught the attention of Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino when they failed to recognize the difference between the words “immigrant” and “illegal alien.” He helped them with an introduction to his X account

“Immigrants, rest assured, we support you as we did in Chicago and Los Angeles,” he wrote. “Representative Adams, perhaps you and Governor STEIN should learn the difference between an illegal alien and an immigrant. Illegal aliens have NO PLACE in our communities and should self-deport through CBP Home.”

Now it’s official. It’s called “Operation Charlotte’s Web,” according to a new DHS press release issued Saturday evening. And here are some of the criminals the Border Patrol is looking for on the streets:

There is also a statement from Assistant DHS Sec. Tricia McLaughlin, as Andy Weber of the local Queen City News reported, adding that there were already “numerous videos” on social media showing the Border Patrol at work:

In case you are unable to read the statement, it reads:

“Americans should be able to live without fear that violent, criminal illegal aliens will harm them, their families, or their neighbors. We are sending DHS law enforcement back to Charlotte to keep Americans safe and ensure threats to public safety are eliminated. There have been too many victims of criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and Secretary Noem will step up to protect Americans when sanctuary politicians will not.”

Let’s go through some of the videos together:

Warning: the videos below contain strong language

Here we see dozens of Border Patrol vehicles heading toward Charlotte:

Unsurprisingly, the fear tactics employed by Democrats also worked here, with anti-ICE crowds making themselves heard and seen:

In the video, a woman inside what appears to be a nail salon can be heard calling out the name of Jesus and then calling the police officers “demons.” And the people outside harass and insult them while they work:

Here is a report from Spectrum News, showing some of the immigration operations underway:

The Border Patrol ushers people into their van, while some women in the background of the video speak in Spanish:

Finally, here comes Gregory Bovino in Charlotte, further educating and helping residents of the Queen City, when a woman asks him why officers are questioning people outside a grocery store. His answer is perfect!

Watch:

Bovino: “Maybe. The criminals’ grocery store. They must eat too.”

President Trump spoke in a new interview released Friday about the difference a new president has made, particularly when it comes to securing the borders and keeping Americans safe across the country:
