While the federal government rework the rules for a wide -band expansion program of $ 42 billion, millions of Americans live in places where there are not enough health care providers and Internet speeds are not good enough for remote staff. An analysis of KFF health news has revealed that people in these “dead areas” live more sick and die younger on average than their peers in well -connected regions.
