We finally heard from Trump Mobile… and they immediately ghosted us

Where is Trump’s phone? We will continue to talk about it every week. We reached out, as usual, to ask where the Trump phone is. As usual, we are still waiting for a response. In the meantime, I finally received a response from a company executive.
After months – month – sending emails to various official Trump Mobile accounts and press addresses, last week someone responded. Don Hendrickson, a member of the company’s management team, eventually responded to one of my emails and offered to talk, but he has ignored me since.
Last week I broke the unexpected news that Trump Mobile was working on a second Trump phone, a more powerful T1 Ultra. This information came from an old, overlooked interview Hendrickson did with Wireless Dealer Magazine.
The name Hendrickson is not new. He was one of three executives — alongside Pat O’Brien and Eric Thomas — that Don Jr. and Eric Trump brought on stage for a small press conference at Trump Tower in New York in June 2025 to announce the company. The Trumps claimed there were “hundreds of years” of impressive, if implausible, experience in the mobile industry between the three men.

Hendrickson’s part in this experience is the most difficult to pin down. At the launch event he was described as having worked in the mobile industry since the days of pagers, but his real CV is hard to find. I can only find one LinkedIn profile that could be his – a virtually empty listing for a “wireless professional” – and no other public social media profiles or websites.
As for Hendrickson’s current job at Trump Mobile, Reuters indicated that he was the head of mobile operations for Trump Mobile, while Wireless Dealer Magazine identifies him as the company’s president. In the interview, he himself claims to have had the idea for the company and to have turned to the Trumps to make it happen.
I found a lead. One directory site lists him as executive vice president of sales at Liberty Mobile Wireless. This suddenly makes sense: If you remember, Liberty Mobile is the Liberty-centric MVNO that appears to support Trump Mobile – the Trump Network’s online terms of service say it’s “powered by Liberty Mobile Wireless LLC.”
That same directory website lists a Liberty Mobile email address, so I took a chance and sent him a message asking if he could confirm the details discussed in his November interview, and perhaps add more information about plans for the T1 Ultra. If you’ve followed my reporting on Trump Mobile so far, you can probably guess that I never expected to receive a response (to date, I’ve sent the company’s official press line 12 emails over five months and received no response).
Imagine my surprise when, less than two hours later, I received a response:
Dominic,
It’s a pleasure to meet you via this email and yes, I would like to talk to you about Trump Mobile and the T1 handset that we are going to market. I think it’s time we made our voices heard.
THANKS,
Put on
That was a little over a week ago, and those are the only words anyone officially involved with Trump Mobile has ever said to me. I’ve since sent Don three emails – I’m sure I don’t follow most dating advice on how to deal with being ghosted – but have been ignored each time. I don’t know how I feel, having been so close to a real conversation with a real human being who might have answers to all my questions, only to have it all evaporate.
“I think it’s time we made our voices heard.”
I don’t know if Hendrickson still wants to speak, if he still thinks it’s time for Trump Mobile’s voice to be heard. I don’t know if Pat O’Brien or Eric Thomas share his feelings – I’ve tried contacting both, with no response yet. I don’t know why Hendrickson suddenly went silent, whether he was scared or was advised to stop talking to reporters.
But hey, at least now I’ve found a Trump Mobile address that I can email every week and know someone is actually checking.
