Samsung’s trifold phone has exactly the name you expected

What do you call a tri-fold phone made by Samsung with flagship Galaxy-level performance? Exactly!
According to leaker Evan Blass, Samsung’s next tri-fold phone will be called the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold. At least there won’t be any confusion as to what it is, given that the company already has several “Fold” phones.

Blass also shared what he claims are the device’s official specs: a 6.5-inch cover display, a 10-inch interior display (with peak brightness of 2,600 and 1,600 nits, respectively), a 200-megapixel main camera, and a 5,437 mAh battery.

Finally, Blass said the TriFold’s three “sheets” will vary in thickness: 3.9 versus 4.0 versus 4.2 millimeters. He also said that the phone will be “SD-powered,” which likely means a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip (likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite).
The Samsung TriFold has yet to be officially announced, but an unveiling is said to take place on December 5th. However, we have seen the phone (or a prototype), as Samsung recently gave us a glimpse behind the glass.
