University football is back and Big Ten arrives in the first week of the season with an early start on action. A handful of matches this week on the Big Ten calendar will be underway on Thursday and Friday evening and the action will continue all day with more than 12 hours of football in the alignment from Saturday of one ocean to another.

We will share our official predictions of the week 1 of Penn State in a separate article later, but here are all our choices for the first weekend of Big Ten Football. All times rated are the east.

Nebraska against Cincinnati (Kansas City, Missouri) Thursday, 9:00 p.m., ESPN

  • Christopher: Cincinnati
  • Tolume: Nebraska
  • Sat: Nebraska
  • Andrew: Nebraska – "Expectations are high for Nebraska in the second season of Dylan Raiola in the quarter-Arrière. Cornhuskers will do the job on Thursday, but it can be closer than expected. Week 1 is always a blank and unknown slate, and Nebraska is one of the major teams that is really unknown. Even if the Cornhuskers simply escape Cincinnati, it could always be a great season for Raiola and Company."
  • Kevin: Nebraska

Wisconsin against Miami Ohiothursday, 9:00 p.m., Big Ten Network

Northwest in Tulane 12: 00 pm, espnu

  • Christopher: Tulane
  • Tolume: Tulane
  • Sat: Tulane – "I think Northwestern will be more competitive this year, but Tulane will be a difficult game of week 1 for the Wildcats. The Green Wave has played as a Power Four team in recent years and has set up a very solid transfer class which should hold them at the top of the American conference. I am not sold that QB Preston Stone will do enough for the Wildcats offensive to win a victory here – give me Tulane at home."
  • Andrew: Northwest
  • Kevin: Tulane

Ohio States VS Texas12: 00 PM, Fox

  • Christopher: Texas
  • Tolume: Ohio State – "Ohio State has the advantage of depth and experience in this operator with high issues. Expect that they put Texas in a tight and high power test."
  • Sat: Ohio State – "What a treat for a week 1 match. In the revenge match of last year’s semi-final, I think that Ohio State will get victory again. I think that playing at home will be big for Buckeyes, and their defense, led by Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles, should be able to force enough stops to win a tight match. I think there will be turnover for the two young quarters in it, but give me Julian Sayin and his talented weapons in front of the crowd."
  • Andrew: Texas
  • Kevin: Texas

Indiana vs old dominion 2: 30 pm, fs1

  • Christopher: Indiana

  • Andrew: Michigan
  • Kevin: Michigan

UCLA vs utah11: 00 pm, fox

  • Christopher: Utah – "While the Big Ten game in everyone’s mind this weekend can take place in the Horseshoe, my views will take place on the match in Rose Bowl and the men of Deshaun Foster. During his second year, Foster will look for a little turn. With transfers and return to Gogo, including the addition of Tennessee Castaway Nico Iamaleava, can UCLA leave with a victory against an overwhelmed opponent of Big 12 in the annoying team of Kyle Whittingham? I say no. Look for the new QB Devon Dampier and Co. to stun the UCLA on the road, leaving Foster with more questions than answers to start the season."
  • Tolume: Utah
  • Sat: UCLA
  • Andrew: UCLA – "A game flying under the radar is UCLA and UTAH. The UTES could be an underestimated team in the Big 12, and with a week 1 match against a UCLA team which has new pieces with key positions, the UTES could be released. However, the Talent of the Quarterrier of UCLA Nico Iamaleava will be too much, and the Bruins will become Utah."
  • Kevin: Utah

Washington vs Colorado State11: 00 PM, Big Ten Network

  • Christopher: Washington
  • Tolume: Washington
  • Sat: Washington
  • Andrew: Washignton
  • Kevin: Washington
