What are the best- and worst-run U.S. cities right now?

In the United States, some cities are distinguished by laudable governance, while others are struggling with more ineffectiveness, budgetary deficits and unequal results. This is why Wallethub decided to choose the highest and the best cities in the United States in 2025.
He compared 148 cities in 50 states by dozens of factors in six categories: financial stability, education, health, security, economy and infrastructure / pollution. He examined certain obvious measures, such as violent crimes rates, obtaining the graduation of high schools and unemployment. And some more ready to use, such as building growth, bicycle scores and the perception of security residents.
“The best cities in America most effectively use their budgets to ensure financial security, education, health, safety and high quality transport to their residents,” Wallethub analyst Chip Lupo said. “Many highest cities also have a very small amount of public debt per -manner per capita, which can prevent financial problems in the future.”
