Next batch of Gimcheon Sangmu recruits announced

Pohang Steelers Hong Yun-Sang, New Korea International Center Back byun Jun-Soo, and FC Seoul Starlet Kang Ju-Hyeok title the next batch of players who should start their military service with Gimcheon Sangmu.

On the morning of August 14, the results of the third cycle of this year’s conscriptions for the body of athletics of the Korea Armed Forces were announced on the Military Manpower Administration website. The selected persons should enlist on November 17, with their discharge for May 16, 2027.

The notable names include the Gangwon FC Lee Sang-Heon striker, the national team center by Byun Jun-Soo and the astron of Pohang Steelers Hong Yoon-Sang.

A particularly notable point is the large number of young players accepted. Several players under 22 have made the list, including Yoon Jae-Seok (born in 2003), Park Man-Ho (2004), Kim Seo-Jin and Jung Ma-Ho (2005) and Kang Joo-Hyuk (2006).
