The Trump administration tightens its grip on immigration after a deadly attack on National Guard members in Washington, D.C. In a social media post, Marco Rubio wrote that the State Department has “suspended the issuance of visas for all individuals traveling on Afghan passports.” It comes as US Citizenship and Immigration Services “suspended all asylum decisions”, saying there would be new measures to ensure immigrants are “screened and examined to the fullest extent possible”.
