WhatsApp Is Beta-Testing Missed Call Messages
“Leave a message after tone.” We all expect the option to explain why we contacted when someone is missing our phone call. This was not the case for calls for messaging applications. Although these applications are the essential call option for many, most of them, including WhatsApp, do not offer a voicemail option. It changes now.
As Wabetainfo has spotted, WhatsApp is now in beta of a feature that will allow you to leave a message when someone is missing your call. The option is not available for all beta testers, but some see it in the latest beta version.
Here is how it works: when you call someone on WhatsApp and does not resume, you will have the standard options to recall or cancel awareness. However, when carrying out this latest beta version, you can also receive a third option: “Save the voice message”. This option also appears in your text wire with the contact, under the registration of the missed voice call.
Whatever way you choose to save the message, WhatsApp will send the voice note to this text thread and keep the notification of the missed call, so that the other user can quickly catch up. This is by no means a revolutionary functionality, because you have already been able to send voice messages to WhatsApp, but it is a convenience, and it is useful that WhatsApp has designed the functionality to work with the call experience.
If WhatsApp deploys this functionality to the public, he would join the few applications that offer him, such as FaceTime – which allows users to leave an audio or video message for missed calls.

How to install the beta version of Whatsapp
If you want to try this feature and all the other first features that WhatsApp includes in the beta version, you will certainly need an Android device. Although there is a beta version of WhatsApp on iOS, it remains perpetually full. There is always a chance that the beta version will open, but I have never seen it happen before.
