Where to watch Mariners vs. Tigers: TV channel, live stream, ALDS Game 4 odds

The Seattle Mariners earned a bye to the ALDS round by virtue of finishing 90-72 this season, which was good enough for their first AL West title since 2001 and the second-best record among AL division winners. The Detroit Tigers had hopes of getting a bye for nearly the entire season, but blowing a 14-game lead in the AL Central meant they needed to hit the road in the Wild Card Series as a No. 6 seed. No matter — the Tigers took down the Guardians in three games to advance here.
Detroit eked out an extra-inning win in Game 1 and Seattle needed late-inning heroics to even up the series with a Game 2 victory. Despite a ninth-inning rally by the Tigers in Game 3 Tuesday, the Mariners held on to win 8-4 and will now look to end the series Wednesday and advance to the ALCS.
The Tigers and Mariners have never squared off in the playoffs before, so it’s a fresh matchup. The Tigers haven’t won the World Series since 1984, while the Mariners are the only team in baseball to have never been to the World Series. Game 4 storylines
Tigers: Detroit rallied in the ninth inning Tuesday and while it was too little too late, the Tigers have to hope that will carry over into Wednesday. It sounds obvious, but they really need to get runs on the board. Former No. 1 overall pick and 2025 All-Star Casey Mize, who had a worse second half than first, will take the mound.
Mariners: Seattle, on the other hand, has to feel good going in, even after watching Caleb Ferguson implode in Game 3. They’re one win away from advancing to the ALCS for the first time since 2001.
Game 4 prediction
Casey Mize had a 4.04 ERA after the All-Star break and the Mariners have seen everything the Tigers have from the bullpen. The Mariners rake on the road. They finish the job here on the strength of their bats. –– Matt Snyder
