White House Shuts Down ‘Fake News’ Report About Patel With One Simple Photo – RedState
It’s a day that ends in “y,” meaning a liberal news outlet reported on President Donald Trump and the alleged unrest within his administration, which the White House called “fake news” — again.
The latest comes from MS NOW, formerly MSNBC, which claimed that FBI Director Kash Patel is on his way out. It read: “President Trump plans to remove Kash Patel as FBI director in the coming months, as he and his top aides become increasingly frustrated by the unflattering headlines Patel has recently generated.”

Karoline Leavitt drops the mic on Democrats calling on troops to defy orders
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt saw the article and came up with a pretty clever way to respond with a smiling photo of the two men, which has since gone viral.

“This story is completely made up,” Leavitt wrote. “In fact, when this fake news story was released, I was in the Oval Office, where President Trump was meeting with his law enforcement officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel.”
“I read the headline to the president and he laughed. He said, ‘What? That’s totally wrong. Come on, Kash, let’s take a picture to show them you’re doing a great job!’ she added. “Don’t believe the Fake News!”
Leavitt’s post included a pretty awesome photo, with President Trump and Patel standing next to each other in the Oval Office. Both men instantly smile with big smiles on their faces as they give a thumbs up.

The “fake news” comes just days after the White House had to shut down a CNN report claiming there would be a shakeup in Trump’s Cabinet as President Trump reaches the one-year anniversary of his second presidency, RedState reported.

It linked to a CNN article whose headline read, “Trump officials prepare for possible cabinet reshuffle after one year,” saying that was according to “several people familiar with the discussions.”
“This story is 100% fake news, and the White House has repeatedly told CNN in the strongest possible terms,” the press secretary wrote. “Yet they still wrote this story because their audiences are dying, so they thrive on drama that doesn’t exist.”
“The truth is, President Trump could not be happier with his administration,” she added. “Shame on you, CNN.”
Kudos to Trump and his team for finding a fun way to end the report. Sometimes a picture truly is more powerful than words, and this is definitely one of those cases.
