A long epidemic of infections in Salmonella was detected by the Food and Drug Administration.

The source of Salmonella Anatum is frozen brake germs (Moth) and Moong (Mug). As of July 17, 11 patients were confirmed. Four of the patients were so sick that they had to be admitted to hospitals. No deaths have been reported.

The first person to become sick in the epidemic was identified in October 2024. The last patient fell ill on June 24 of this year. The source of salmonella making sick people was found when the FDA carried out a routine sampling of frozen germinated beans of the deep brand. Health managers used the whole genome sequencing to determine that contaminated germs corresponded to the samples of the patients.

The products involved were distributed nationally. States with booming patients are Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington.

According to the centers form the control and prevention of diseases, there are probably many more sick people in the epidemic than which has been confirmed at this stage. Indeed, some people do not consult medical care and others are not specifically tested for salmonella infection.
