Jim Jordan Says Alleged Obama Admin Plot To Take Out Trump Should Be Investigated ‘To The Fullest Extent’
Republican representative Jim Jordan de l’Ohio told “The First” the host Jesse Kelly Tuesday that the investigation into the origin of discredited affirmations that President Donald Trump has collus with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign should “be prosecuted.”

Jordan then described how people of the Oval Office plotted to “trap and undermine” Trump, including a warning from the Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer of New York that the intelligence community could come after Trump “six ways on Sunday”. Jordan said Gabbard had done “exactly the right thing” by releasing the documents, which encouraged Kelly to ask if those behind the intrigue “would really descend”.

Obama’s spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush responded to allegations that the former president launched the conspiracy to undermine Trump on Tuesday on X. “Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and the disinformation that arises from this white house with an answer,” Rodenbush wrote. “But these claims are sufficiently scandalous to deserve one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a low attempted distraction.”
“Nothing in the document published last week divides the conclusion widely accepted according to which Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but failed to manipulate votes,” he added. “These conclusions were confirmed in a 2020 report by the Intelligence Committee of the Bipartite Senate, led by the president of the time Marco Rubio.”
