The final match of the group stage against Italy is on Thursday and batting coach Floyd Reifer says there will be no let-up.
“We take every game seriously,” Reifer said Wednesday before a practice session. “It’s another opportunity for us to continue to check our boxes. To make sure we control the different phases of the games that we talk about in team meetings. Tomorrow’s game will be like that in terms of opportunities to get used to it.”
Their top batters are in good form and that will help their confidence ahead of the Super 8s. Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer and Sherfane Rutherford have all featured in the runs. Brendon King and Rovman Powell also started.
