The Transparent 25W ST19 E26 Wiz Filament Bulb is a smart bulb that changes color that has an LED strip wrapped instead of a traditional filament.
It is available in the United States and the United Kingdom under slightly different names to reflect the difference in power, bulb shape and mounting, but they have the same features set and are very similar.
Known as the Wiz Filament Filament Blouse Erase 25W ST19 E26 in the United States, or the WIZ filament bulb release 40 W ST64 E27 in the United Kingdom, it has a list price of $ 32.99 / £ 27.99, and can be found at Wiz and Amazon.

I love the classic form of the filament bulb and I was delighted to see that it did not seem too fragile. I have mixed opinions on the rolled LED band. I found that it looked good in the warmer whites and red, but due to the combination of different color LEDs, it turned out a bit of horror when it is in other colors, with the advanced brightness when using in my lamp.
If you want a light that can shed light on a room in addition to providing beautiful mood lighting, then this bulb will not be suitable. It will be more or less like a reading light if your book is positioned right next to it, but it is not ideal – although I think it is often the case due to the nature of the filament style bulbs.
Although it looks pretty on certain parameters, the width of the LED strip can be swinging if you are looking for a more authentic filaments. If this is the case, you could be better looking for a non -color filament style alternative, which you can also find from Wiz, Philips Hue and various other brands.
The stringent bulb was pleasantly simple to synchronize with the WIZ V2 application, as it was automatically detected, and it connected to my Wi-Fi quickly and without hassle.
Unfortunately, the WIZ V2 application is not as intuitive as the companion applications Govee and Nanoleaf – although it would take a lot for an application to compare to the Govee Home application, which you will probably have guessed if you have already read my examination of the Govee 2 table lamp. Despite this, the WIZ V2 application offers a variety of useful functions, such as the control menu, which offers static accessories that include options Warm, and witnesses, and which offers static lighting, static proposals that include night options, and witnesses, which offer a fashion flash, as well as a few others.
I could also choose shades from a color graphic, adjust the color temperature using a cursor or choose one of the twenty-five dynamic presets, each offering different color palettes and movements. I could also change the speed of color changes, although this setting was applied to all dynamic presets, rather than individual.
The brightness was easy to adjust using a cursor on the home screen or when setting up settings in the control menu. Thanks to the rhythmic function, which I set to change between different modes depending on the local time, I was able to obtain the brightness and the color temperature to adapt automatically throughout the day. There is also a schedule functionality, which I used so that the filament bulb dies at a defined time.
I found that the filament bulb could be slow to respond during the passage between the dynamic lights. And it was also a bit long by applying everyone, because he asked me which part I wanted to apply it each time, despite a single configuration. But I could define four of my favorite light parameters on the home screen, up to eighteen in the rapid action folder, or save them in scenes, so at least the process was faster once I chose my favorites.
Regarding the scenes, I found much more effective to adjust the lighting effect I wanted in the control menu before saving it as a scene. Although the same parameters are available when creating a new scene, the bulb did not immediately reflect the changes I made. Instead, I could not check the result until I created and allowed the new scene, which was not ideal, which means that it was often better to modify the lighting parameters.
The connection of the filament bulb to my echo point (5th generation) was pleasant and simple, because it was automatically detected by my Alexa application. I needed to put the filament bulb in twinning mode, which was a case of writing light until it begins to pulse blue, and the synchronization process only took moments to end. I could then use vocal commands so that the filament bulb modifies the colors, the temperature and the brightness, which was very practical, especially since my requested modifications were applied quickly.
Despite the disappointing elements of the application, once I had refined the lighting effects and set up automation and voice control, I liked to test the filament bulb. Overall, I was satisfied with the quality of the price. So, if you are looking for a vintage style bulb with modern intelligent features and want to change the atmosphere with a little color, it is worth checking the wiz filament bulb, erase 25W ST19 E26.
