WWE Raw results, highlights (July 21): Roman Reigns and Jey Uso reunite

It is the WWE Summerslam season, and with two nights to fill in action, the company continued to tease a few big games. “WWE Raw” in Houston was no exception, because Roman Reigns made his second consecutive appearance after Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker took him to the “RAW” after Wrestlemania 41.

Well, the “tribal chief of origin” has rekindled a positive relationship with his former teammate of the line, Jey USO.

🫂 Night meeting

It is not surprising, but it is bad for USO, of everyone, just to forget the past shared between him and Reigns throughout the saga of the line. However, we are there.

Before that, however, Paul Heyman noted that Rollins will be absent for an extended period and proposed to repair the fence by inviting Reigns to join his group. So, it is actually a perfectly sticky Heyman thing to do, and seeds planted to dissolve the group of Rollins upon its return. He should be livid with Heyman for suggesting such a thing after their story.

Reigns did not want the idea, saying that Heyman was the only one ruining the line. It’s questionable, reign, but I’m from where you come from. Meanwhile, it is hilarious to see Breakker try to take control of the old reign over the nickname “Big Dog” sports during his worst years. I’m not sure that it is a recommended decision, WWE, given the way it happened with Reigns.

Things broke down after that, which led USO to save and set up a Summerslam label team match. All this seems to be a very strong pivot of everything that was initially planned for Rollins before his injury. I don’t like it because of the Reigns-USO element, but let’s see what WWE can save the unexpected change.

💭 Night epiphany

CM Punk posed the biggest problem with the current WWE calendar – and I had started to notice it, but I did not fully do it before its promotion at the start of “crude”.

First and foremost, he and Gunther delivered their words vintagely. They were strong and confident, but ultimately without any other for their match – because there will be no more construction with Summerslam in fifteen days. And that’s the problem. The time, or its absence, between Ples, is so short that some of these title matches have no history outside a competitor’s match. Punk won the Gauntlet match last week to win his title – the only match he had since lost his other shot on the title against John Cena. Oh, and in this match of five people, he only had to beat a single person.

Listen, the match will be great. However, there is no way to be invested in this area unless you know that the two are good wrestlers. It’s good in pure sport. However, that’s not that, and when you think about it, there are only a few long -term stories right now at WWE. By coincidence, one of them involves punk. It’s not with Gunther. Even when he had a certain story with Cena, it was also rushed and short -lived.

Gunther, overall, feels somewhat without direction, only to be a big fighting champion. Meanwhile, the recent existence of punk has been largely to lose because of Seth Rollins, or to simultaneously prevent Rollins from winning.

Of course, it could have been theoretically possible, but it was completely absurd to withdraw Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez of the second largest WWE event of the year.

In the end, the day of the judgment won because Duh. And with shenanigans. Just get rid of this stupid concept of the team’s “division”, Triple H. You don’t care about it. It is used as a joke.

Before that, Lynch and Valkyria had a brief promo, which was good. He added the account and no DQ stipulation in their match, as well as a loss of Valkyria, which means that it can never contest the intercontinental title again. The whole booking of tag-team team title has overshadowed the promotion and the match, however. It was a silent idea in mind.

🤬 Night dq

Do not make a match if you don’t want someone to lose, triple H. Nothing was more predictable than a DQ in the revenge Iyo Sky against Stephanie Vaquer.

This “crude” was designed to frustrate me, friends. Because this match, as it always looks like, was phenomenal – until arrival. No more Sky fight is always good, and it was a pleasant surprise to see these two leaving. You can really say that they have fun working together, and it was a direct wrestling match to start. They are an excellent pair, and we need an appropriate resolution to a correspondence between them at a given moment.

Vaquer obtained the victory by DQ when he was attacked by … Secret Hervice and Chelsea Green. It was the last buzzkill in a flawless match.

Naomi and Rhea Ripley finally presented themselves even on the odds and have something to do in this program. But the man, the rehearsal of this type of end of the match is so incredibly lazy.

👑 Non -crown gem of the night 👑

There were a lot that continued with the team pretender match at Triple-Threat of the team. Generally, WWE does not have three wrestlers as active members of their teams in multi-team matches like this, so it was an interesting but quite funny wrinkle. And while this match found itself surreated like hell on arrival, it fully highlighted the winners, the LWO, but especially Joaquin Wilde.

Wilde’s hot tag, which finally led to the victory of his team, was great. The way he slipped around the ring to remove everyone was magnificent. It was an unexpected decision, and the LWO will surely lose its match for the title due to the scenarios which were woven in Ludwig “El Grande Ameri-Kaïser”.

👍 Monday Night Money 👍

1 and 1 Naomi interrupted the interview to go behind the scenes to tease his potential match in Clash in Paris. This meeting was short and sweet, emphasizing more how this version of the women’s champion is great. Unfortunately for her, I cannot imagine that we will see this match, but it was a pretty little teasing.

2 Sheamus beat Rusev with the Broge kick in their revenge match after the big match they had a few weeks ago. So, this match was good enough to be a global plus, despite the pieces that I did not like at the end, especially Rusev’s attempts to cheat to win. Michael Cole’s criticism on Rusev’s previous victory as a “controversial” was also a lame. It was a brilliant finish, and I will not entertain any of this silly slander.

3 and 3 The only good thing about the match for the title of the female team was that he continued the hilarious buffoon with Dominick Mysterio and AJ Styles, with his several disguises. The match is underway for Summerslam.

🤷 It happened 🤷

Karrion Kross beat Sami Zayn in their revenge, with the help of his steel pipe when the referee was distracted by Scarlett. It is great that Kross has won by all means, but it looked like a moment of little meaning.

👎 Brute affair 👎

WWE did not show the entrance to Kross. He has one of the best in the business, man. Come on.
