Hidden image suggests ChatGPT app might get Apple Health integration

The latest version of the ChatGPT iPhone app contains an unused (for now) image in its code that appears to indicate upcoming Apple Health integration. The image shows the main Health icons, surrounded by several images of health categories: steps, activity, breathing, hearing, sleep… and a carrot, for some reason (there is no carrot icon in the Health app). It is possible that ChatGPT generated the image and embellished it.
There’s no information yet on when this feature might be enabled or what it will be used for, but ChatGPT already connects and integrates with many other apps, such as Box, GitHub, Gmail, Slack and others, to help you give personalized answers to questions and insights into data.

ChatGPT may soon have access to some data from the Health app on your iPhone, according to this image published by Macrumors.

We should note that there is no evidence of any sort of partnership here, nor any suggestion that ChatGPT will suddenly only have access to all of your health information. Apple provides frameworks and APIs that allow third-party apps to access Health app data, and there are hundreds, if not thousands, of apps that do this.
Users must specifically enable the integration, and you have fine control over whether data can be written to your Health app or only read, as well as the exact categories of data you want to make available. ChatGPT probably just uses the same HealthKit framework as every other app.
But if you’ve ever wanted ChatGPT to know more about your vital signs, it could soon become a reality.
